Sorry to miss this week's meeting. I had a training class I had to attend.

I hesitated initially to call out Monty specifically, but I needed a
specific example and this is one. The response above is an example of why
we need to make sure we are _all_ available and approachable by projects.
This reminds me of the conversation where I balked at the inclusion of a
project that had no history other than "we know them, they're cool." I'm a
little worried about even a volunteer effort where those who already know
the team members volunteer to mentor.

My ask -- let's be sure we clearly are available to teams that want
mentoring, but since we are only a dozen or so people, don't overwhelm us
with one-on-one mentor-to-team requests. Rotating through is fine, but
recognize that some teams won't need as much inter-connection as others.
Also let's make sure teams know they can reach out to any of us, not just
the ones they know in person.
