[tc][powervmstacker-sig] Status of the PowerVMStacker SIG
Hello, # I'm adding TC tag because this is a governance topic I happened to notice that none of the repositories[1] owned by the PowerVMStacker sig have not been updated for ~5 years. May I know the current status of this SIG ? The SIG list page[2] says this SIG is active but I don't think it's true now based on the update in these repos. If no one is actually working in the SIG then I'd suggest that we retire the SIG and its repositories. Note: It seems these repositories still have old stable branches(ocata, pike) and we may need some help from the release team with retirement of these branches. Unfortunately I've not heard any update even from anyone including its chairs CC'ed for almost one month, so I wonder if we should consider starting the process to retire the sig and its repositories. On 2/1/24 17:18, Takashi Kajinami wrote:

Tony Breeds, who had some background and inside knowledge of the SIG, said "it's dead, totally dead. it and any repos owned can be retired" when I asked him in #openstack-tc a few weeks ago: https://meetings.opendev.org/irclogs/%23openstack-tc/%23openstack-tc.2024-02... Seems like it's past due for retirement, yes. -- Jeremy Stanley
Oh, Thanks. I somehow overlooked it. I've proposed the changes to retire the SIG (I'm not too sure about the governance repository update for SIG retirement so the proposed patches might be wrong). https://review.opendev.org/q/topic:%22retire-powervmstacker%22 On 2/20/24 22:11, Jeremy Stanley wrote:
