Oh, Thanks. I somehow overlooked it. I've proposed the changes to retire the SIG (I'm not too sure about the governance repository update for SIG retirement so the proposed patches might be wrong).

Tony Breeds, who had some background and inside knowledge of the SIG, said "it's dead, totally dead. it and any repos owned can be retired" when I asked him in #openstack-tc a few weeks ago:
