[Openstack] coredump error with dpdk application in VM with icehosuse release

hi all,
I am using icehouse 3 node setup .
i have launched a virtual machine with fedora20 on host machine Ubuntu
12.04.5 LTS.
I have compiled DPDK-1.6 on the virtual machine and trying to run basic
dpdk application [l2fwd] .
I am getting illegal instruction (core dumped) error .
What may be the reason for this error . Need help on this .
am i missing anything .
