All,

   I have specific deployment of 3 high end physical boxes. Box 1 hosts all
controller services and also compute whereas box 2 &3 hold compute only.
Now I want to configure 2 as passive controller for HA of controller
services. Nova services like scheduler etc needs to be highly available
whereas compute need not be HA.
   My HA approach requires all controller services should be binded to
migratable ip whereas compute should be binded to static ip configured on
box.
    Problem which I am facing is that I am not able to specify separate
host/ip for controller and compute services on node1. Please let me know
how can I have nova compute and controller services binded to diff ip. For
neutron each  services is having its separate conf file and by adding host
entry in each services solves my problem. But for nova its same nova.conf.

     I do not want to run controller services on separate boxes as these
hardware are quite high end and will be underutilized if used for only
controller.
