[Openstack] Can't boot from reattached rbd volume

That's great Thomas! If you could point me to the patches (I wasn't able to find them) I'd like to try applying them to my dist of openstack. We use official ubuntu packages.

Hi,

Nova in Icehouse (and in Havana) doesn't have the
feature. If you use the Ubuntu packages, it wont
work. However, I have added the 5 needed patches in
the Debian packages. You may try them. Note that I
also maintain some (non-official) Ubuntu packages.
