This is good start on this stuff. It reminds me of an email Ryan Lane sent to the user-committee list [1]. I think now is the time to start asking for this kind of information in the user survey.

The user survey is mostly targeted at OpenStack operators right now so the wording might be kind of tricky but we need to try before the next big user survey push.

I think it's worthwhile to start a new thread and formulate these questions. I'll kick it off right now.
