Hi Marco, MySQL Cluster is not recommended for running on virtual machines. It is designed to be used as real-time as possible and with the NDB nodes on isolated networks. NDB node failures could well occur as well as delays in getting data when running on a cloud. Although the situation in the later versions is much better than it was when I worked for MySQL.
