From what Monsyne Dragon and Jonathan LaCour have said on this topic, I feel confident that the nova-db subteam has a good handle on the issues we are currently facing with the db layer. And I'm sure they will have some good proposals for how we can move forward. I am happy for nova-core to enforce consistency until we decide to adopt one of their proposals.
