Subject: Re: [Openstack-personas] Personas screener introduction
Good catch Jacki. I've updated the form to removing the word using, so it
now says "We are looking for people who manage, use and develop
applications for the cloud."
I've moved the references to "Most activities will take an hour" to the
2nd last question in the survey that lets them choose which UX study they
want to participate in.
If you have other suggestions on updating the intro, please feel free to
email the list / me and I'm happy to do so.
Thanks again,
Ju

Hi Ju and Jeff,
There's a typo in the intro. "We are looking for people who manage, use
and develop applications for the cloud using" Using what?
Also, I'm not sure if we want to tell people that "Most activities will
take an hour" because we don't explain what activities we mean and it
might seem like the survey might also take an hour. We could add this
statement to the relevant question inside the survey, where we give them
the option to volunteer for the different types of research.

Hi Jeff:
Thanks for revising the intro. I'll make the updates and begin sending
out invites. I'll include the invite to this list as well that folks can
send to anyone (including folks within his/her own company) who might be a
good candidate.
Thanks again,
Ju

All,
I added a short intro to the personas screener. This is what I wrote.
The OpenStack User Experience team is looking for people using OpenStack
or other cloud technologies. We want to better understand your role and
your experience with the cloud. We are looking for people who manage, use
and develop applications for the cloud using. We are interested in people
who use a GUI, CLI or APIs. Most of the activities take about an hour.
Please complete the survey if you are interested in participating.
I am assuming most people who would read this would know what a GUI, CLI
and an API are. Does that seem like a reasonable assumption?
