Open Stack

Hello everyone,

In response to the community request that the "os-ansible-deployment" project be made more generic and less Rackspace Private Cloud specific the team has been working on making the roles and playbooks more consumable outside of the context of the the Rackspace Private Cloud product; we’re removing all of the Rackspace specific variables, features, functions, and scripts. Additionally, the roles were rebuilt to be consumed outside of lxc containers and other the Rackspace deployment decisions. Moving to a more generic setup is a massive change to what we presently have so we’d like to discus the pending review with anyone interested in the project. As such, we’ve added a meeting agenda item on this topic to our next meeting and If you have time and or are interested in the project the meeting is tomorrow at 1600UTC in the "#openstack-meeting-4" room.
