Open Stack

Hi All,

I'm interested in monitoring & trending  resource utilization by instances
(as opposed to allocation).  Primarily I want this for capacity planning
and calculating cpu and ram allocation ratios

We currently use munin for trending, but if this is something more easily
exracted with different tool (stacktack, ceilometer?) I'm not opposed.

I can probably get the libvirt munin plugins to spit out something near
what I want if I bang on them hard enough, but I'm wondering what (if
anything) other people are doing for this.
