just wanted to quickly second that as an ideal, especially the
standard URL. Every time you break a published URL Tim Berners-Lee
sheds a tear (and it's starting to leak though the floor above me
now...)
As somone who's been trying to not break URLs, never delete anything,
and keep evolving content fresh for far too long now I also recognize
one can't always reach Utopia.
