Hi, nova-docker was discontinued because the lifecycle of containers and VMs are different and the Nova APIs doesn't satisfy it. Zun is an independent project of Nova which has its own set of APIs for managing containers on top of OpenStack. For more information, you can read the FAQ section of Zun wiki page [1].
