Hi all,

I want to share results of the last Heat meeting, where we discussed
"convergence" status.
"Convergence" feature still has some issues, which prevent enabling
"convergence" engine by default. Some of them were found on TripleO during
manual deploying.
Also there are valuable numbers of related patches [1]

The final solution for Mitaka is saving "convergence" feature in
experimental status and ready for deep, thorough testing.
So if somebody wants to try/test 'convergence' stuff, it's the best moment
for it.
However it's not recommended for production clouds.

In Newton release Heat team plans to enable this feature on the most part
of gate jobs (e.g. TripleO ha job).
After 1 month of execution jobs with enabled "convergence" and positive
results (low rate or equal 0 happening errors), feature will be enabled by
default.
