[openstack-dev] Help with EC2 Driver functionality using boto ...

It is hard to tell if this is a bug or a misconfiguration from your desctiption. The failure likely generated some kind of error message in nova or glance. If you can track down an error message and a tracback it would be worth submitting as a bug report to the appropriate project.
