[openstack-dev] The road to RC1, and Skipping Release meeting next Tuesday

Hi everyone,

I won't be able to run the Project/Release meeting next Tuesday, so I
propose we skip it and I'll follow up with the PTLs individually on
their projects status.

As a reminder, the focus at this point is to come up with comprehensive
release-critical bug lists, and to burn them fast enough to be able to
publish a first release candidate in the next weeks.

I quickly set up a graph to track how well we were doing in that area:
http://old-wiki.openstack.org/rc/

Note that each project can publish its RC1 at a different time, whenever
they fix all their RC bugs. The Icehouse development cycle opens for
them at that time : the fastest you fix bugs, the earliest you unfreeze :)

The bug lists can be found at:
https://launchpad.net/keystone/+milestone/havana-rc1
https://launchpad.net/glance/+milestone/havana-rc1
https://launchpad.net/nova/+milestone/havana-rc1
https://launchpad.net/horizon/+milestone/havana-rc1
https://launchpad.net/neutron/+milestone/havana-rc1
https://launchpad.net/cinder/+milestone/havana-rc1
https://launchpad.net/ceilometer/+milestone/havana-rc1
https://launchpad.net/heat/havana/+milestone/havana-rc1
https://launchpad.net/swift/+milestone/1.9.3

Ideally, we should fix all the bugs in those lists (and publish RC1)
before the end of the month.

Regards,
