Hi everyone,

Starting now, FeatureFreeze[1] and StringFreeze[2] are in effect for
Keystone, Glance, Nova, Horizon, Quantum, Cinder and Oslo's master branches.

In order to ensure timely focus on bugtriaging, bugfixing, documentation
and translation as we prepare our first release candidates, core
reviewers should not approve branches containing new features, database
changes, new configuration options or modifications to user-visible
strings. Exceptions are possible, see [1] and [2].

[2] https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/StringFreeze

A number of blueprints have been granted Feature Freeze exceptions
already (or are not really features), and can therefore still result in
feature changes being merged:

- cinder: api-v1-v2-docs, update-snap-metadata
- glance: glance-api-v2-image-sharing, multiple-image-locations,
glance-domain-logic-layer*
- horizon: quantum-lbaas
- keystone: trusts, pluggable-identity-authentication-handlers
- nova: backportable-db-migrations, migration-testing-with-data,
nova-api-samples
- oslo: advanced-matchmaking
- quantum: lbaas-haproxy-driver, quantum-scheduler*, lbaas-namespace-agent

*: Still to be confirmed

All of those exceptions should be completed before the end of next week!

Those frozen ages will end for each project as it delivers its first
release candidate. At that point, the master branch will switch to
Havana development and will be unrestricted again.

Regards,
