Hi all, Just thought I'd let anyone that wanted to make images have a little tool I helped out with. https://github.com/yahoo/Image-Builder It can take a tarball of a filesystem (not iso) and create a image, format it, mount it, run a set of modules over it (to say install rpms), unmount it, and then create an archive (or folder) that can be used with openstack (and I think ec2). Something that others might be able to find some use for as well (or a base of something useful…). It also creates a 'semi-filled' libvirt.xml which can be used to test out the image (nice for testing) and so on…. Have fun with it! -Josh -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
