I have to execute the command: cinder reset-state --state available --attach-status detached name_volume then the volume becomes available and is not connected to the instance. Hi, what is your cinder backend? What do nova-compute.log and cinder-volume.log reveal? Which openstack release is it? Is the behavior different if you delete an instance via dashboard vs. CLI?
