[puppet] broken CI for stable/pike and stable/ocata
Hi All, While I'm updating job configurations in each branch to avoid unexpected conflicts between them[1], I noticed that currently CI for stable/pike and stable/ocata is broken. Pike: https://review.opendev.org/#/c/718725/ Ocata: https://review.opendev.org/#/c/718726/ While I guess we need to update the job script to fix the issue, May I know whether anybody still has an interest in maintaining these branches? If nobody is interested in keeping these branches, I'd propose to make these old branches eol, so that we can reduce the number of open branches. I'd appreciate any feedback about this topic. +1 to EOL the branches, I recently backported a lot of CI fixes all the way back to Queens so those should be fine for now. Thanks Takashi! # Resending with openstack-discuss included, as I unexpectedly removed the mailing list. Thanks Tobias for quick response. FYI, currently lint job in stable/queens is broken because of the PE requirement. I already proposed backport patches to remove that requirement[1], and confirmed these backports fix the job. So queens job should be ok after we merge them. [1] https://review.opendev.org/#/q/%22Remove+PE+requirement+from+metadata.json%2... I'll still wait to hear any opinions about retirement from other people. Thank you, Takashi On Fri, Apr 10, 2020 at 5:57 PM Tobias Urdin <tobias.urdin@binero.com> wrote:

Because we haven't heard any objections about the retirement of stable/pike and stable/ocata, I'll go ahead to retire these branches in all puppet-modules. On Mon, Apr 13, 2020 at 10:25 PM Emilien Macchi <emilien@redhat.com> wrote:
