Hello Neutrinos: Before stepping down as Neutron PTL, I would like to thank you for your commitment and work done during the last two releases. Let's keep Neutron, the stadium projects and OpenStack in general healthy and growing every day. We are now in the RC phase and we should be focused on delivering the best possible code for Bobcat cycle. So far I think we are going to deliver a good quality release. I'd be easily agreeing with that if Aodh was the only project suffering the breakage or using it at all, but the lib is in use for about dozen openstack projects and this dependency bump broke the gates for three of them. Other alternative for this is that wsme would get released (the fix is merged already) and we would bump that in the upper constraints. I would personally prefer any other option than needing to monkeypatch/vendor the wsme code in the projects long enough that we can find a solution to remove it as dependency across. Cyborg nova reports mdev-capable resource is not available

Greetings, I would be interested in the state of the taskflow jobboard feature in octavia. [1] states it still is an experimental feature, but in the config section [2] it is not marked as such. If I look into the code I see that the feature is implemented since the U release. So my question would be is the taskflow jobboard feature still in an experimental state or is it considered production ready? If its still experimental is there any ETA when its expected to be production ready? [ptls][URGENT] Bobcat Release: DPUs, GPUs, and FGPAs, oh my!

Hello folks! So, as the OpenInfra Foundation has begun putting together the release marking materials for the Bobcat release, we noticed a trend focused on enabling hardware and increasing utilization. Ironic in particular had an excellent cycle highlight about DPUs[1]. We wanted to quickly reach out and see if there were any cycle highlights that projects maybe haven't published in a review, but are related to this topic. Please respond ASAP as we are moving fast on finalizing the press release. Also, if there is anything related coming in Caracal, we might be able to call that out as well, though I know it's quite early to know what might be landing in 2024.1. Hello OpenStack community, I'd like to ask whether it's possible to set a static fixed IP address for a DHCP server within a subnet, especially when using the OVN driver. While I've come across a blueprint that addresses this topic, I haven't been able to find any pertinent details in the documentation. Our primary use case is to maintain IP addresses during the migration of VMs between two OpenStack clouds. Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! -- Kamil Madac

HI I am creating an openstack cluster where i have deployed, i am followinf victoria release of installation https://docs.openstack.org/victoria/install/ keystone placement glance nova neutron i have created an vm instance inside my openstack cluster which is working fine for both inbound and outbound connectivity now i want to deploy the kubernetes service for which i have installed heat and magnum when i am creating the kubernetes service using magnum it is getting stuck in kube_master resource to create for an hour and then gets failed attaching the SS for reference what could be the reason for this i am expecting the kubernetes creation process by magnum in openstack -- This email and any attachments may contain confidential, proprietary, or legally privileged information and are for the intended recipient only. Virtual hardware Watchdog for Windows VMs

Hello, Is it possible to use virtual hardware watchdog in Windows VMs? I am emulating the "i6300esb" with QEMU in Linux instances and everything works as expected. But when creating Windows instances, this device does not show up in the device manager. - Has anyone tried/tested this before? - Is this supported? - Are additional drivers needed? - I found the following old bug. Hello to everyone, I have some experience in installing Openstack but I am having some weird problems lately. I have installed Openstack Victoria previously using packstack and everything was working fine. Some days ago I tried to deploy a more updated version of Openstack and previous configuration that I was using with packstack is not working. I have tried to deploy a new Openstack with packstack and devstack and none of them were working. I would like to ask you if you kown a running installer because I have run out of ideas about what to do.
