Hello, We are implementing the auto-healing workflow captured here - https://github.com/openstack/heat-templates/tree/master/hot/autohealing We are deploying a Heat auto-scaling group that scales a template that contains the needed services and the Nova resource. The template contains a Zaqar queue, Mistral trigger and Mistral workflow. We are also using a scaling policy to scale up and down the template resources. This is working fine, but we are experiencing an issue with scaling up the auto-scaling group via 'openstack stack resource signal <stack> <scaling_policy>. If the Heat stack is update with a larger value, the resources are added correctly. It is only when using the scaling policy. Logs show a forbidden error when attempting to create the Zaqer Mistral trigger. Development Focus ----------------- The Dalmatian-1 milestone is next week, on May 16! Project team plans for the 2024.2 Dalmatian cycle should now be solidified. General Information ------------------- Libraries need to be released at least once per milestone period. Next week, the release team will propose releases for any library which had changes but has not been otherwise released since the 2024.1 Caracal release. PTL's or release liaisons, please watch for these and give a +1 to acknowledge them. If there is some reason to hold off on a release, let us know that as well, by posting a -1. If we do not hear anything at all by the end of the week, we will assume things are OK to proceed. NB: If one of your libraries is still releasing 0.x versions, start thinking about when it will be appropriate to do a 1.0 version. The version number does signal the state, real or perceived, of the library, so we strongly encourage going to a full major version once things are in a good and usable state. Hello , I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to inquire about the possibility of adding additional DH (Diffie-Hellman) groups to the VPNaaS (VPN as a Service) project in OpenStack. Currently, our setup involves using DH groups 14, 16, 20, and 21 on Fortigate routers. However, the available DH groups at the OpenStack Web UI for creating IPSEC policies are limited to groups 2, 5, and 14. Could you please provide insights into whether there are plans to introduce more DH groups into the VPNaaS project? This addition would greatly benefit our configurations and improve compatibility with our existing infrastructure. Thank you in advance for any information or guidance you can provide on this matter. ListSecurityGroup: END return value: 0 *Regarding the CIDR*, I thought it is OpenStack auth IP so in my case, I used DevStack so 192.168.122.111 so CIDR would be 192.168.122.0/24. In this case, CIDR still be 10.0.0.0/24 as you mentioned? Please correct me if I am wrong. [neutron][releases][tc] Retiring tap-as-a-service-tempest-plugin and old stable branches of tap-as-a-service

Hello, I recently found that tap-as-a-service-tempest-plugin repo[1] is quite outdated. I had a chat with slawek and lajoskatona about the repo and they agreed to retire the repository, because all taas related tests have been migrated to the core neutron-tempest-plugin. I'm wondering if anyone (probably TC ?) has any suggestion about the steps to retire the repository. Although this is not an official openstack repository, this is tightly related to tap-as-a-service which is now under openstack namespace and neutrons' stadium (probably we can follow the standard steps to retire OpenStack repos ?) Also, I'd like to revive the old discussions[2][3] about the old stable branches of the taas repo. These branches were kept because the tap-as-a-service project was out of the openstack namespace at that time. The old branches in this repo are using the job definition in tap-as-a-service-tempest-plugin repo and are blocking any job update there. I'm wondering if someone from the release team can help EOL/delete the old stable branches (O/P/Q/R/S/V, and probably X?) to avoid further problems.
