Hi All, Saltstack is an Infrastructure management system(Similar to puppet, juju etc) . We deploy cluster using what are called salt formulas. Follow this link<http://csscorp.github.io/openstack-automation/> to view the formulas for deploying Openstack on Ubuntu. The latest version of the formulas has the following features. 1. Simplified method for adding nodes. 2. Simplified method for updating config files. 3. Auto network configuration. The formulas allow you to maintain your cluster as a text/json file, so that you change the cluster by just editing one file rather than manually changing configuration in each host machine. Saltstack also allows you to version your formulas so you can better maintain your infrastructure and at anytime choose to rollback.
