Subject: [openstack-dev] [Fuel] Fuel 9.0 is released

Dear all,

I am glad to announce Mitaka release of Fuel (a.k.a Fuel 9.0) - deployment

and lifecycle management tool for OpenStack.

This release introduces support for OpenStack Mitaka and adds

a number of new features and enhancements.

Some highlights:
- Support lifecycle management operations (a.k.a ‘day 2’ operations).
Now cluster settings tab on UI is unlocked after deployment
(cluster configuration could be changed). [1]
- Support of custom deployment graphs. Default deployment graph
could be overridden either by plugins or by a user. [2]
- Support of DPDK capabilities [3]
- Support of Huge Pages capabilities [4]
- Support of CPU pinning (NUMA) capabilities [5]
- Support of QoS capabilities [6]
- Support of SR-IOV capabilities [7]
- Support of multipath devices [8]
- Support of deployment using UCA packages [9]

Please be aware that it is not intended for production use and

there are still about 90 known High bugs [10]. We are planning

to address them all in Fuel 9.0.1 release which is scheduled

for late June [11].

We are looking forward to your feedback.
Great work, Fuel team. Thanks to everyone.
