[OpenStack-DefCore] Polls for New Meeting Times

Shamail: combining meetings was discussed a bit I think, but I don’t think it was ever really decided. I kept them as separate polls so we could gauge interest independently as I’m not sure everyone will want to attend both (worth noting: we currently have different response counts for the two polls, so it appears that some are only interested in one meeting or the other). If turns out that most of the parties who are going to show up consistently do want to attend both, I see no reason that we couldn’t decide to combine them, but I’ll leave that to the co-chairs who run them.

Justin: I guess that’s up to the meeting chairs (Egle/Rob/Van, feel free to chime in!) but for the past cycle we’ve been using join.me/phone for the process meetings and phone for the capabilities meeting. FWIW, I also prefer IRC and we’ve been pushing more and more of the discussions about particular changes into Gerrit anyway, so I don’t think re-evaluating the medium would be a bad thing.

For those who are new to DefCore, please note that we've traditionally held two separate meetings each week: a capabilities meeting (during which we score potential new capabilities and tests to be added to the DefCore battery) and a process meeting (during which we discuss most everything else). I've created two separate polls for these meetings so that you can answer for the meeting or meetings you plan to attend. As a reminder, if there's substantial demand by regular attendees we'll try to work out a staggered meeting schedule so that everyone gets a chance to participate.

We believe that Survey Monkey should be widely available, but if you are unable to access the polls, please feel free to email me directly and I'll be happy to provide an alternate method of making your opinion heard.
