Dear Product Work Group,
Today’s the deadline for PTLs to confirm whether they intend to participate in the “project update” track in Boston. The intention is to record a 20-minute talk (with 20 additional minutes in their speaking slot available for Q&A) for use on the project navigator and in building our community-generated roadmap. PWG will be assisting the PTLs with a presentation outline, due to them by the end of March.
So far, we have 28 projects confirmed (including those who self-nominated) and 8 invited but not confirmed. Glance, Rally, Murano and Manila have the highest adoption but are not yet confirmed. Congress, Mistral, Cue, and Watcher are also invited but have not confirmed. Keep in mind that today’s the deadline, so the PTL might just be waiting until later today to accept or decline.
Heres’ the list: https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/PTLupdatesBoston
Let’s flag if any project is missing, and proactively reach out to projects we feel would be a huge miss if we didn’t have a recording for that project. We have 32 slots, with the potential to either request a few more or give a few back to the overall track organizers. Thanks for your help in assembling a great track! I think these recordings will be very valuable for the community to get a quick picture of project functionality, development priorities, and how they’re working to solve user needs.
