Fully agreed… it has been great to see how Jon and Shilla have worked the past years and how many excellent new people are now stepping up to contribute.

It’s a long time since Jonathan Bryce put my e-mail address in front of the summit and asked for users to get in touch if they’d like to be involved in the feedback loop..

Jon has been member of the UC from its inception. He has always been an active contributor of our community willing to help anyone who has been dealing with OpenStack. He is one of most experienced members in OpenStack Operations. I could not think of any OpenStack feature that Jon is not aware of. Thank you for helping the users and operators community to gain more appreciation to this platform that we all love and sometimes hate for sure.
Shilla has given everything to our community. She has been always providing warm welcomes to anyone and help them to become active members of what we have today. Shilla is one of the key contributors fighting and supporting changes on the OpenStack organization to benefit users and operators. She has promoted this community in so many ways that we could easily lost track of all of them.

Thank you Shilla and Jon. I know you both are not running for an UC position this time but it does not mean that we won’t be bother you along the way.

Do not forget to cast your vote. Tomorrow is the last day and after that we will be welcoming new members to help us to continue the work that we all have contributed so far.
