[User-committee] [app] Cloud App Labs (lounge + training)

Hi all

1:  I hope that this training is kept. But I do have a question – who is the summit’s target market going forward?  If the training doesn’t fit in with that target, then it’s wasted effort ☹ IMHO developers who write apps to run on OpenStack should be given attention (Developers! Developers! Developers!), and hence should be part of that target market. Does more effort need to be made to attract them, though?

2: I felt that the training covers a lot of ground – and that on the day the exercises were rushed. Which meant that those who didn’t know what they were doing were left behind, but those who did know what they doing were just fine (which begs the question: why were they there?). So I like the format, I like the challenges, but it should be paced differently IMHO – and perhaps streamed?

    2, Something that could be done is to promote the labs more/earlier 
    during next summit, perhaps during the first Keynote instead of second 
    like in Barcelona.
    we saw an increase of ppl stopping by after it was mentioned and so on. 
    Could perhaps have more challenge sessions during the summit? giving ppl 
    chance
    to chose what day to attend? On the labs it self my opinion is that 
    nothing really needs to change, just need to get more ppl to do them ;-)
