Folks, you really need to send these emails to the user-committee mailing list, as thre are people who read it that might not be active member4s of Fault Genes, but may have already encountered and solved yours or similar problems (such as the bug search).  The whole reason for the larger community maililng lists are to draw the community together to allow the long timers to help the n00bies.  Take advantage of this.  You might be very happy to see where others jump in to help.

I’ve been looking at open neutron bugs (136).  It is taking a long time to sift through data, so I changed approaches and am writing a python script with launchpadlib to automate the data-mining.  If this new approach seems promising, we can widen to the broader set of openstack bugs.  It is proving time-consuming to suss out OpenStack distro, and other details that we hope to capture in the fault spreadsheet.  Automating the data-mining would dramatically accelerate compiling a report prior to each summit for the presentation.
