Dear Scientific Linux Community, [Cc'd OpenStack User Listserv / mailing
list]

A quick shout-out (or "tipping of the hat") to the Scientific Linux
community from the OpenStack community [waves]. There have been ongoing
discussions on our mailing list about the growing Scientific community who
are using OpenStack. Naturally we are looking to empower the conversation
cross community.

As to, we are aspiring to follow in your footsteps to provide greater
compatibility between research institutions through a new working group via
the OpenStack foundation.

Naturally, in the spirit of open we would welcome any guidance, critique
and/or comments via this etherpad where we are scoping the WG:

https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/scientific-wg

There are plans to discuss the direction this group should take at the
upcoming OpenStack summit in Austin, framework for this proposed discussion
proposed at the following document:

Greatly appreciated for your guidance and wisdom as the open cloud
community continues to grow.

Kind Regards,

Flanders
