Hi all, Just a quick update on where we're at with the "Writing your First Application on OpenStack" tutorial's support for the various libraries 100%: * Libcloud : working. Actually getting some questions from people using it on Ask OpenStack! :D Section 1 done: * shade: section 1 is in and tested working thanks to Stefano. Needs section 2&3 so we can publish properly. * pkgcloud - section 1 is in and tested working. Patches for sec 2&3 started - https://review.openstack.org/#/c/198628/ - https://review.openstack.org/#/c/198662/ - would love a better nodeJS code to take over. Also ran into problems with the SDK - https://github.com/pkgcloud/pkgcloud/issues/453 Section 1 started: * .NET: Liang Bo @ 99 Cloud has got this mostly done, but ran into problems with the quality of the .NET SDK. He's working on fixing the SDK * jclouds: apparently Nick Chase has this done and is testing before upload * fog: section 1 has been started, but needs completing and testing * php-opencloud - started, but impossible to finish due to missing functionality in the SDK - https://review.openstack.org/#/c/224987/ * OpenStackSDK - Christian has a patch in, but it's about half way through - https://review.openstack.org/#/c/180877/ So far not started: goose, gophercloud, aviator All of this is more or less tracked with these bugs: https://bugs.launchpad.net/openstack-manuals/+bugs?field.tag=firstapp Regards, Tom
