[Product] Quota and accounting user stories from the scientific working group

I got thinking a bit this morning (which hurt a little) and it occurred to me that helping to identify use cases may become a fairly common research activity for the OpenStack UX project.

+1 to creating a new user story for this effort. If there is an interest in implementing new users storiescode we shouldn't muddy that scope with former use cases that were never acted on.

Hi Carol,

We’re thinking that the research will include a series of interviews with operators to understand their specific use cases. The use cases will help refine any requirements that have been created around quotas. The research plan could potentially change between now and when the research effort is kicked-off.

In some ways, the effort will be in parallel and Shamail (UX core) will keep the group in the loop.

Shamail, is that fair?

Piet

Our goal with this story, during the current cycle, was to re-evaluate whether it fits how quotas are being leveraged and desired attributes that we might need to enhance. From the Scientific WG perspective, is resource reservation not a focus or do you see the user story/requirements being a super-set (reservation related topics AND the ones mentioned below)?

Thoughts? If you agree then I can work with the team to start the refactor.
