I've got in principle approval to travel, in all likelyhood my transit
point will be SFO or LAX, but I also plan to spend a few days in the 
office at San Antonio.  So for my $0.20 worth either CA or TX works 
really...

While I acknowledge a degree of bias based on my own circumstances - the
need to book travel sooner than later - I think this time around we're
better off locking in our date and location so we have certainty, and
hoping to co-locate next time.
