Hello Jagdish

Thanks for reaching out to help me. I disabled both firewalld.service and iptables.service after stacking. I am not sure how sysctl with kernel plays a role here - would you please elaborate

Thanks In Advance

Siva

Hi,

Pelase check iptables setting. And also check syctl settings.

Dear All,

I setup a multi-node ODL and OpenStack environment with one control node and compute node while ODL runs on a different machine. I successfully created a network and attached a VM to my private network. I also assigned a floating IP to the VM that has been attached to my network. I added a Security Group that literally allows all ICMP, tcp and udp traffic in either direction.

But when I tried with SSH and ping, I am getting the following errors:

 ssh -i uoskeypair.pem cirros at 10.5.22.113<mailto:cirros at 10.5.22.113>
ssh: connect to host 10.5.22.113 port 22: No route to host

 ping 10.5.22.113
 PING 10.5.22.113 (10.5.22.113) 56(84) bytes of data.
From 10.5.3.1 icmp_seq=5 Destination Host Unreachable

I wonder whether it is related to my NIC configuration. My NIC configuration of of the compute node is as follows:
