> I checked Terraform which presumably uses Heat client (https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/OpenStackClients#Official_Clients) > but it also says that Rackspace is not officially supported due to some differences (https://www.terraform.io/docs/providers/openstack/<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.terraform.io%2Fdocs%2Fproviders%2Fopenstack%2F&data=02%7C01%7Crovanleeuwen%40ebay.com%7Ce10ffdbe2a8a449bd82f08d50f59942e%7C46326bff992841a0baca17c16c94ea99%7C0%7C0%7C636431799766958887&sdata=rKqf5ruqVnnoEv0nPuIjFaJaA4ksUFGEqTsdKH86Szo%3D&reserved=0>). A bit off-topic: Terraform uses the gophercloud go library to talk directly to the Keystone/Neutron/Nova OpenStack APIs It is not using Heat in the background. Very simplified I would say terraform is a cloud vendor-neutral (ish) replacement for Heat which is run client-side instead of server-side. >Am missing something or Rackspace Cloud and the OpenStack clients are not compatible? >Has anyone been successful in fully managing Rackspace with OpenStack tools? Never played with Rackspace Cloud, cannot help you here. Cheers, Robert van Leeuwen -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
