Open Stack

Hi buddies,



We want to convert my traditional kvm VMs, which usually have 2 qcow2 disks, one for OS and the other for DATA.
I know the typical method is importing OS disk into glance and DATA into cinder, and then attach the cinder volumn to a instance.
I want to know is there some way that i don't need to work with cinder. The reason I don't want to use cinder is that to use cinder efficiently, I need more expensive 10Gb ethernet hardware and switches.
