Dear OpenStack Community, The User Committee (UC) is proposing changes to the OpenStack Foundation Bylaws in order to formalized the following goals: - UC members to be elected instead of appointed o AUC will have the voting rights - Increase the number of members from 3 to 5 - Formal recognition of Active User Contributor (AUC) The proposal is here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QmLOeseAkjBWM_TXsUeKBErNaSHnuZp81II0T71ARfo/edit?usp=sharing This proposal will be presented during the next Board of Director meeting on Monday Oct 24th in Barcelona, Spain. Feel free to send us your comments. In a nutshell UC will have a very similar organization and structure than the Technical Committee (TC) but with very different goals and mission.
