Hi
With:
neutron floatingip-list --all-tenants
neutron floatingip-show ID

you will at least see the current status of your floating IP

If you are an admin you should be able to specify the specific floating IP you want when allocating it for a project.

Hi, I associated a floating IP to a project by accident and it should have been associated with another. Releasing the IP from the project does not allow me associate it to another project.. the number just increases.

How can i clear the IP out of the association pool so i can re-associate it?

Thanks,
