Hello OpenStack Community,

Last week during the OpenStack Summit there was a lot of talk about interoperability (keynote: https://youtu.be/xgj9BA6qfIs?t=686 ). If you want to learn more, here are some reference materials on the DefCore committee and interop process:
Wiki: https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Governance/DefCoreCommittee Wiki you can remember: https://wiki.openstack.org/DefCore OpenStack Interop guidelines and process for submitting test results: http://www.openstack.org/brand/interop/ Current guidelines: https://github.com/openstack/defcore/blob/master/2015.05.json https://github.com/openstack/defcore/blob/master/2015.05.rst DefCore repository, all documents go through Gerrit process: https://github.com/openstack/defcore Process doc: https://github.com/openstack/defcore/blob/master/process/2015A.rst Rob's Book of blogs on DefCore, covers a lot of history and decision making: http://robhirschfeld.com/tag/defcore/ Slides: http://www.slideshare.net/rhirschfeld/community-defcore-presentation Recorded presentation, DefCore community review: http://t.co/HqvvKPDa6L http://robhirschfeld.com/2014/05/01/defcore-capabilities-selection/ IRC: Join #openstack-defcore on Freenode IRC
If you are interested in being part of interop/defcore conversations, join the DefCore committee: bit.ly/DefCoreList . We will be setting a new cadence for our recurring meetings later this week.
Let us know if you if you have any questions.
Thank you,Egle Sigler, DefCore Committee Co-Chair
