My experience with installing openstack on centos6 was maybe 1/4 of time spent configuring openstack and 3/4 to make it work with antique versions of software and bad design of centos and "wonderful" improvements in default options that made neutron firewalls not work for no apparent reason. And when I tried "their" openstack kernel, rebooting KVM VM caused hypervisor to kernel panic.... Maybe that will motivate them.
