[Openstack] Ironic on XenServer

Hello all,
I'm currently trying set up an OpenStack environment with Ironic via the DevStack script on a machine with XenServer, but have run into some issues. My current set up is as follows: a Dom0 which creates a DomU with DevStack loaded, and running that. Currently, I can successfully launch virtual instances through OpenStack, without any touch of baremetal, which is where Ironic comes in.
First off, I have a question: in the localrc file, we are supposed to set a VIRT_DRIVER; this presents a point of confusion because the range of values for this value include both XenServer and Ironic. Previously, I obviously had it set to XenServer to launch the virtual instances. Now that I want to enable Ironic, should I switch the value to indicate that? Or what is the proper configuration for this?
Second, my error of the day when trying to stack everything is
ovs-vsctl: cannot create a port named eth1 because a port named eth1 already exists on bridge br-eth1
I had previously configured a eth1 in order to give XenServer network access. Does previously having done that make this step of the script redundant?
If anyone has any experience with deploying Ironic on XenServer, I'd love to have a point of reference to talk to.
Thanks very much,
Richard
