Open Stack

Dear All,

I am new to open-stack community and want to try some experiments with
it like creating a storage service on cloud.

I have very basic question,
Is it possible to successfully install open stack component (specially
swift) using virtualbox on a machine having 4GB ram? Also if anybody
tried such basic installation, please let me know steps you tried and
problems faced.
