Subject: [Openstack] Tricky questions - 3/3 Hypervisor: connect to a VM evenif I have NO INJECTED NETWORK
Hi All,
Some Tricky questions I ask help for (email 3 of 3):
(please refer to a scenario with Openstack+Quantum, so we can have complex networks)
HYPERVISOR
May I connect to a virtual machine (via the hypervisor I suppose) even if NO IP has been yet injected to the VM?
I mean: let’s suppose that for some reasons there is no IP injected during the VM creation (I guess that surely this should lead to an error ), the entity that created the VM and is dealing with it is the Hypervisor, is it theoretically possible, via the Hypervisor, to access the VM? (I mean “access” ssh-like….being able to launch some commands for diagnosis or rescue)?
Thanks in advance for any help
Best Regards
Marco
