[Openstack] Volume in attaching state

I am using OpenStack ESSEX and use the nova-volume service. Neither I couldn't find any error from the nova-volume.log nor from the libvirtd.log on the compute node.
Does this require any tags in the nova.conf of the compute node?

If you are using Cinder,
check into cinder-volume/ cinder-api as well.
You can also check /var/log/libvirt/libvirtd.log on the compute node!
