[Openstack] Fun with grizzly-3 and nova-conductor...

Folks,

So, I've done a bit of research on this issue, but I seem to have a more basic problem than what I've been able to find elsewhere. Specifically, I don't have a /usr/bin/nova-conductor at all, nor do I have any startup scripts I can find for nova-conductor. There's an example [3], but that code doesn't seem to exist anywhere on my system.

It will be nice when there is some good documentation [1] on this new piece of code that was started in November of 2012 [2]. It will also be nice when nova-compute stops complaining quite so loudly in the logs about problems while waiting for nova-conductor to start up [4].

I hope that the documentation will include information on how /etc/nova/nova.conf needs to change to support using nova-conductor [5] (Google translated from the Chinese).

But those are all more advanced problems for me. Right now, I need some help figuring out how I managed to get to where I am with installing grizzly-3 without having a nova-conductor of any sort, and what is the best way to go about fixing that. Is it as simple as switching to the grizzly/proposed repos and doing an "apt-get update && apt-get upgrade"?

Thanks!
