[Openstack] How to make the subinterface connection in a VLAN environment?

My OpenStack environment is running under traditional VLAN model.
Currently, I have two VMs which is running Ubuntu 12.04 server and their
Fixed IP is:
Host 1: eth0: 172.16.0.3
Host 2: eth0: 172.16.0.5
Then I add a subinterface to each VM like this:
Host 1: eth0:1 192.168.2.2
Host 2: eth0:1 192.168.2.3
My network configuration looks like:
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
auto eth0:1
iface eth0:1 inet static
address *192.168.2.3*
netmask 255.255.255.0
Also in the access & security I open icmp there, but I don't think this is
related to my issue. Then I try to run ping host2 from host1, and it works.
Then on Host1, I run:
ping 172.16.0.5 -I 192.168.2.2 -> *NO RESPONSE*
ping 192.168.2.3 -> *Destination Host Unreachable*

I didn't modify the route table, and it looks like:
Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use
Iface
default 172.16.0.4 0.0.0.0 UG 100 0 0 eth0
172.16.0.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 eth0
192.168.2.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 eth0
Anyone know how can I access the host2 through my subinterface? Thanks a
lot.
