Hi Dan, Just before launching the instance using 'nova boot', I had run these commands on controller (ran only on controller): # nova secgroup-add-rule default tcp 22 22 0.0.0.0/0 # nova secgroup-add-rule default icmp -1 -1 0.0.0.0/ I assumed that they will configure firewall correctly.
