This is from section 4.6 (setting up compute node)

  *   Modify the /etc/nova/nova.conf like this:

Hm, but the OVS_MultiNode guide uses a nova-compute.conf file that doesn't contain a mysql connection line.

So what's different about Joshua's install that's requiring mysql knowledge on his compute node?
