Hi Rajshree,

You can install the quantum plugins for l3 and dhcp or agent. How many NIC's have you used for networking?

Are you using the flatdhcp or floatingip (nova components)?

Subject: [Openstack] Instances running on VMware ESXi are unable to configure IP

Hi All,

I have configured Openstack Grizzly to use ESXi 5.1 as hypervisor.
Creating/deleting instances from Openstack works as expected, instances are created in ESXi ( Verified via vSphere
Client) and started ok. The trouble is that VMs are unable to configure internal IP. Does quantum have a way to reach vmware api to configure network.
Does quantum plugin for vmware/esx exist?

What could be possible solution for this? Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Rajshree
